2-4 months - Best time to train. Puppy's minds are like sponges.

5-9 months - Most difficult time to train. Adolescence. Rebelllious. Trying to be the top dog. Be firm, patient and consistent.

10 months. Hormones settle down. Be consistent. He will learn to relax.



CONFINEMENT

Kitchen, bathroom, alcove or small room. Doors closed by baby gate.
Crate: Not more than 4 hours (if less than 5 months old). Get a friend, neighbour or dog walking service if > 4 hours.
