17. Behaviour change in old dogs - More affectionate

1. Behavioural change to rquiring more attention.

Consult vet to rule out vision, balance, hearing loss, joint pains (arthritis) etc.

1.1 Complete blood count, serum biochemistry profile and urinalysis every 2 years.
1.2 If normal, maybe CDS (canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome) - brain function changes in old dogs. Selegiline (L-deprenyl) often lessens or eliminates many of the symptoms.
